We're looking for a passionate new team member who relishes the prospect of speaking with innovators every day - whether that be hearing about their next big idea or brainstorming how the next iteration of their product may look. You don't need a technical background for this role, just a broad understanding of technology and an interest in startups. If you're a strong communicator who enjoys working with people, you'll thrive in this role. This role is for someone who can share a founder's vision and inspire them on their journey!
The most important thing for this role is to be able to get into the mindset of a tech founder.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Host introductory calls with founders who are interested in launching their MVP with Verticode
- Managing the client account for innovators after they've launched their MVP with Verticode
- Hosting calls with founders to hear about their post-MVP progress and understand the next iterations of their products
- Diligently following up with warm leads
- Assessing Founder sentiment so we can tweak and optimise the sales and account management process
- You'll collaborate with a mix of team members, from product specialists to developers, ensuring founders get the best possible support throughout their journey
The skills you'll need:
- An interest in startups
- 2+ years' experience in client-facing roles
- Naturally organised
- A natural enthusiasm for interpersonal communication - both verbal and written
- A self-starter who is able to drive themselves and work on the back of their own initiative
- This role is a great fit for someone returning to work after a career break, especially if you have experience in client-facing roles, sales, or account management. If you love working with people and are eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you!
